Dank room with glaring overhead lights

Pros: Location in Crystal River. The low price. Please don't make me make up stuff. Thank you.
Cons: There were no lamps next to the bed for reading; only a lamp on the desk. The overhead lights were overly bright. The "rug" was a green faux grass outdoor carpet which looked dirty, and made the room look cheap. If they got some lamps and new flooring, and a dining room table (there's a kitchen there but no table), the place would have been all right.
Location: Snorkel with manatees.

Came expecting nasty accommodations from other reviews, was not disappointed. Packed accordingly as for a camping trip, brought own bedding and towels. Dirty, dilapidated. A shame since it is a very good location.

Trash motel

It's the worst place we ever stayed in and we have traveled a lot, the room was unacceptable They need to I prove on the whole place, no paper towels when we asked they said they didn't Have any, very small amount like 2 or 3 pieces of forks, knives, spoons. Etc as far as anything to cook with or use in a kitchen You wouldn't believe you eyes as to the condition of the room. Sheets are so thin u can see thru them. Rust on the tube, kitchen sink and other, frig, anything That has metal . I would think you would request better pics then what is on the site because that's not a accurate because I mention things above and u can't see what we had when we got there. Your rating needs to be changed to minus 1 being the lowest score it there is one Sincerely Doris Kunde

Great for Scalloppers!

It fit the bill...cheap room for weekend spent out boating with friends. We were hardly in the room. The bed was clean and having a mini-kitchen was great to have for the fridge and freezer. The condition of the hotel is dilapidated. The wood cabinets and door frames are rotted and the window over the shower almost fell in. The shower didn't drain well so the water was up to my calf by the end of my shower. No stopper in sink or shower. The light outside the door was BRIGHT and there were no curtains to block it, just cheap blinds. The other window didn't have a curtain...it had a sheet hanging over a pole that didn't cover the whole window. But it was exactly what we needed for this scalloping weekend. Our friends with the boat stayed at Plantation Inn (paying much more)and they could pick us up from the dock a block down the street at the Park. Would be perfect if we could dock a boat there. I would go back again (and bring my own window covering).

TLC needed

Hotel had a great location and easy access for launching our kayaks and fishing. The staff was friendly and the outside was beautiful due to the scenery and huge oak trees hovering over the hotel. The rooms were clean, however, way out of date. Major repairs and upgrades are needed to get any higher rating. Looked like this was the key place to stay in the 1960s.

Not a bad place but pretty outdated. Needs a lot in the way of upgrades. Also there wasn't anyone available at the front desk, you had to call the guy's cell phone to find him and the office reeks of curry

Nice location, tired property.

Location, bedding and size of room were great. Rest was rather 'tired'.Just a bathroom, no stoppers(plugs) to hold water in basins. Similar applies to kitchen sink (stopper too small-water leaks slowly away). Fridge work very well, as did the oven BUT the stove top was very dirty - but usable. The table top had many marks on it and the chair seats were badly marked. Cupboard doors were 'warped' and air conditioner was at a 'fixed temperature' (could not change it- On or Off).
